Child Safety & Content Standards

Purpose

This page sets out the published Child Safety & Content Standards for the Smart Matrimony app. It explains our zero-tolerance approach to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), how users can report concerns, and how we respond to and escalate confirmed violations.

Scope

These standards apply to all content and activity on the Smart Matrimony app and any related services provided by Maheshwari Innovative IT Services LLP.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Smart Matrimony has a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of CSAE. The app prohibits:

• Uploading, sharing, storing, or distributing images, video, audio, text, or other material that depicts or promotes sexual exploitation of minors.
• Grooming, solicitation, enticement, or any conduct intended to facilitate sexual contact with a minor.
• Sextortion, blackmail, trafficking, or other exploitation involving minors.
• Sexualization of minors, or content that sexualizes or encourages sexual behavior involving children.

Prohibited Activities (Examples)

• Sending sexual messages or images to, or soliciting sexual content from, anyone who may be a minor.
• Attempting to meet minors for sexual activity.
• Sharing links or requests for child sexual content.
• Using the app to advertise, solicit, or facilitate trafficking of children.

User Reporting Mechanism (In-App)

• Report buttons are available on profile pages and content items where applicable.
• Users can also report via the in-app Help/Support or Report menu.
• When reporting, users may provide details and attach evidence.
• All reports submitted through the app are treated confidentially and prioritized for review.

Response and Enforcement

• Immediately secure and remove the reported content or disable access where appropriate.
• Temporarily suspend or restrict the associated account pending investigation.
• Conduct an internal review combining automated detection tools and human moderators.
• If confirmed, permanently remove the content and terminate the user account.
• Preserve necessary logs and evidence for reporting to law enforcement.

Action on Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

• Remove the content immediately.
• Terminate the account responsible for uploading or sharing the content.
• Report the incident to regional and national authorities, and to NCMEC when applicable.
• Preserve and provide available metadata and logs necessary for lawful investigations.
