    We asked 200 Smart Matrimony users in the 22–32 age group to define Maheshwari values. The top responses:


  • Family respect and involvement — not interference, but genuine care
  • Financial responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Vegetarianism and sattvic lifestyle
  • Festival traditions — Teej, Gangaur, Navratri
  • Community solidarity — looking out for fellow Maheshwaris

    • What's striking is how consistent these values are across geographies. A 27-year-old in London and a 25-year-old in Jodhpur described almost identical core values.
